When they finally announced Dragon Age: The Veilguard, I immediately knew I had to make something for it. I’d waited ten years for this video game, I had to celebrate it somehow!
The Veilguard Symbol charts are intermediate difficulty, and use a variety of special stitches, including a couple of Extended stitches.

An ad-free, printable PDF of this pattern is available on both Etsy and Ravelry! The PDF features:
- Both the upright and reversed charts
- Instructions for a beanie
- Instructions for a throw pillow
- Instructions for all special stitches
The yarn I used in these examples is Caron Simply Soft, my preferred acrylic yarn for mosaic crochet! It tends to be far less fuzzy than other acrylic yarns which helps keep the lines crisp, plus it comes in a TON of colors.
I’ve found both Purple and Plum Perfect look very nice with this pattern, paired with White as the secondary color. You can find those and other colors here!
