It’s almost Valentine’s Day, which feels like the best time to finally release this heart pattern! This simple set of alternating hearts can be used on their own, or as an extra bit of something paired with a larger pattern. The choice is yours!
This is actually the same heart used in my Portal Cubes pattern, but freed from the confines of the cube!
This chart is Easy difficulty, so if you’re just starting out with mosiac crochet don’t be afraid to try it out! There are a few special stitches, plus Partial Diagonals if you’re working in the round.

A FREE printable PDF of this pattern is available on Ravelry! The PDF features:
- Both charts
- Instructions for a drawstring bag
- Instructions for all special stitches

As usual, the yarn I used for this project is Caron Simply Soft, my favorite acrylic yarn for mosaic crochet! The colors used here are Soft Pink and Autumn Red. Check out those and other colors here!
