It’s everyone’s favorite Weighted Companion Cube, but it’s not alone – alongside it is the original Weighted Storage Cube!
These charts are advanced difficulty. They use a variety of special stitches, and are made to be used with three colors rather than the standard two.
If you aren’t already familiar with working with three colors in mosaic crochet, check out my tutorial here:

An ad-free, printable PDF of this pattern is available on both Etsy and Ravelry! The PDF features:
- Both charts
- Instructions for a small shoulder bag
- Instructions for a large tote bag
- Instructions for all special stitches
The yarn I used in the preview images is Caron Simply Soft, which is my preferred acrylic yarn for mosaic crochet! Acrylic yarn often ends up fuzzier than other fibers, which isn’t ideal when you want crisp lines in your work. Caron Simply Soft has a smoother texture that I find lends itself to mosaic crochet really well, and as a bonus it comes in a TON of colors!
The colors I used for this are White, Feathered Gray, Soft Pink, and Robins Egg. Check out those and other colors here!

Charts
Each of these charts is 27 stitches across and 27 rows high, and can be used interchangeably with one another.
